Another Staging Success

I recently helped my client stage her house in order to get it in its best selling shape.  She just informed me today that it sold in under two weeks, and for the price they wanted.  I couldn't be more pleased for them!  Now they can relax somewhat and focus on moving to their new house.What we did was simple.  We walked through the house, and I told her how she could make things look better by editing, moving or adding certain things.  The house was in good shape, and they didn't have a whole lot of time to spend fixing it up, so we stuck with the basics.  The best "quick" advice I can give if you're planning on selling your home, is to walk through it and look at it as though you are a prospective buyer.  Rooms should be simple and uncluttered, without looking too sparse and cold.  My second piece of advice: hire a professional designer or stager to help you.  The money you spend getting their advice and sprucing up your home is well worth it!
