Great new tiles

I have to admit that I have a few "favorites"--certain materials that really get my creative juices flowing. I've always loved leather, and have even made some wonderful picture frames and bags from sample pieces. Another material that always piques my interest is tile. There are so many options to finishing off kitchen backsplashes and bathroom surfaces now. The creativity doesn't have to end there, however. Tile is being used on large walls to make a statement, around fireplaces, and even on furniture and accessory pieces. It's a wonderfully durable material that can be installed in infinite ways. Mosaics have long been a way for artists to express themselves in a fairly permanent medium.I just saw these tiles from Island Stone, and love the patterns and textures. Imagine the possibilities!
