Master Bath Remodel

This master bath had plenty of space, but it was outdated, and the large tub was never used.  One of the items on the clients' wish list was a walk-in shower, without high walls that would close it in, and without the use of glass.  The other main issue in the existing bathroom was the lack of storage.  They needed more space to store linens, clothes and products.  They also wanted a design that would enhance the resale value of the house in 5-10 years.The plan we came up with delivers all of those items, with a 4' x 6' shower that has half-walls, and an angled entrance.  The cabinets remain in the same place, but we stepped back the upper storage so that it wasn't so imposing.  Originally we were specifying off-white painted cabinets, but the husband wanted to stay with a stained wood instead.  The new cabinets have a hamper pull-out, pull-outs under the cabinet for easier access, and small drawers to keep little items visible and organized.  We chose a stunning granite top that has neutral colors, plus reds, blues, and grays sprinkled throughout.The tile is neutral (keeping resale in mind), but we jazzed it up with a playful insert on the floor and the shower walls.  We added a chandelier to cozy up the space, and speakers that work wirelessly from their iPhones round out the details.
