Media PA 55+ Community Clubhouse and Dining Room Renovation

Project Story

The Lakeside Gatherings project is a clubhouse renovation designed for the Springton Lake 55+ community in Media, PA where residents come together to socialize, attend meetings, watch movies, and relax with neighbors and friends. The goal of the renovation was to create spaces that felt quieter, warmer, and more comfortable while maintaining an inviting, community-centered atmosphere.

One of the biggest challenges in the dining areas was excessive noise. To improve the experience, sound-dampening materials were added to the walls, dramatically reducing echo and making conversations easier and more enjoyable. Updated flooring, lighting fixtures, fireplace finishes, and soft neutral wall colors helped create a calmer and more welcoming environment throughout the clubhouse.

Artwork was carefully placed throughout the space to add warmth, color, and visual interest while complementing the updated interiors. Comfortable seating areas, improved lighting, and refreshed finishes now give residents inviting spaces to gather, relax, and enjoy everyday community life.
